A Short Update ))
Hi everyone )). So we’re well into the year now and I must say, I’m liking 2012.. I just have a good feeling about it!
In class for the last week we have been doing only barre, and then pointe and variations in preparation for the up and coming concert at the academy. The concert is a performance of variations, group repertoire, and pas de deux’s. Alongside my variation, my friend Ilse and I have been given an adagio duet to learn alongside two of the Japanese girls in my class, Miki and Keito. The auditions are optional (I think) so I’m still in two minds about auditioning as the whole academy is free to watch the auditions and I and definitely not confident enough for that. My rehearsals are on stage tomorrow though so we shall see how they go.
A lot of the academy went on tour to Athens this week which meant that the internat was nice and quiet. I must admit that it has been lovely with everyone as everyone is getting along really well. We’re like a little family! Haha.
I know that this is a short blog but I wouldn’t want to bore you with meaningless nonsense!!
